This is a top rate cap. Everything about it is done to perfection, from the lines and proportions to the quality of the wool used. I cannot find anything here in the states that compares, and have actually stopped looking. We Yanks may not be as sophisticated as you Brits, but we still know a good thing when we see it!!

Got mine delivered today. Undoubtedly a quality cap well put together and excellent fit. Got a bit of a collection going now and why not? I have seen similar products online for twice the money and not as good.If you want a hand made cap that will last many many years just buy one.

I have been wearing my Aberford for a few weeks now and feel that I can give it a bit of a review.
It is very nicely made, the tweed (Wharfe) looks even better in real life than in the photos and it has the right feel. The cap fits well and is at it best with the peak high for me, creating shade for eyes but allowing good visibility. It feels a bit short at the back if the peak is pulled down, and not ideal for a really blowy icy wind. (A scarf would be a solution for this!) With the peak high up on the forehead it creates space for various applications, big binoculars or a camera for example.
