Office Administrator (Part Time)

About Us
Lawrence and Foster is a long-established Yorkshire hat manufacturer, founded in 1994, specialising in producing premium flat caps and headwear. We supply customers across the UK and internationally. Our factory is busy, friendly and hands-on, with a loyal customer base.
We are looking for a reliable and organised Office Administrator to support the smooth running of our day to day operations.
The Role
The role is on-site in our factory office. You will often be the first point of contact for customers, suppliers and visitors, representing the business and ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
You’ll support production, customer service, and general administration, helping to keep everything running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Customer communication: Handling incoming calls, emails, and customer enquiries
• Orders and administration: Processing orders, updating records, and preparing dispatch paperwork
• Production Support: Supporting production with job sheets, labels and documentation
• General administrative support to the management team
What we’re looking for
• Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
• Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with SAGE or other accounting systems (desirable)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Friendly, professional communication style
• Ability to work independently
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable managing varied tasks
